Draiocht has returned to active development after the the update for 1. Dub has taken a step back, but we have been pleased to welcome Chrysocyon and neothiamin who have helped to update to 1.31, and now Segus and Velius for 1.32, as well as other members of the community. It was the first time that a set of maps, contemporary to the date of publication, was designed, drawn, and engraved with the intention of publishing them in a bound volume. Heh, if I counted mods that werent updated / got broken by updates, the list wouldve been quite a bit. ![]() More recently, Draiocht has had to leave the direct involvement with the mod, with me and Dub updating it for 1.30. Typus orbis terrarum Title (alt.): Typvs orbis terrarvm Description: Ortelius book of maps, first published in 1570, is considered the first modern world atlas. Both actually I totally forgot that Voltaires New Nightmare existed, but at the same time, I was actually referring to Voltaires Nightmare II which extended the scope from just the HRE to pretty much most of Europe and the Mediterranean. I (Chairman Meow (JP)) joined at this time, and we also begun to reoverhaul Europe, which had been updated by Paradox themselves.ĭub, Nikicaga and Math5615 joined the team, bringing a wealth of historical knowledge and modding ability to the team. Upon HR's departure from modding, the mod brand was taken up by Draiocht with the name Beyond Typus, which moved Beyond the Pale to a better map projection, and begun overhauls in other parts of the world. The mod started many years ago by the Steam User HR, with the popular mod Beyond the Pale which initially focused on Ireland, and then the British Isles. For those new to Beyond Typus, the mod aims to improve the historical accuracy of EU4 and increase the province density to create a richer more detailed game. Through this, we aim to make a map that is accurate, pretty, and workable, as well as trying to avoid too much personal bias, or lack of knowledge. These province overhauls are meticulously researched by a team from around the world, with contributors ranging in age, occupation and country of origin. ![]() What does this mod do?For those new to Beyond Typus, the mod aims to improve the historical accuracy of EU4 and increase the province density to create a richer more detailed game.
